What AI1Up Actually Costs to Run After You Buy It

The purchase is one payment. The running cost is not zero, and pretending otherwise would be the one dishonest thing on the page. Here is every line, and who bills you for it.

The Monthly Floor

Two lines are genuinely fixed. Everything else moves with what you actually do.

What you pay whether or not you generate anything.

  • Your own web hosting $5 to $30 / mo
  • Email through an SMTP relay service $15 to $20 / mo
  • A phone number, only if you send SMS about $1.15 / mo

The floor is around $20 to $50 a month.

What You Pay per Use

  • AI images, on Fal.ai $0.003 to $0.15 each
  • AI video, on Fal.ai $0.16 to $2.36 per 5 sec
  • Voiceover, ElevenLabs from about $5 / mo
  • AI writing, your own key billed per request
  • AI phone calls $0.05 to $0.15 / min
  • SMS, your own Twilio about $0.01 each

Which Lines Apply to You

Video is the line worth watching, because the spread between the cheapest and the dearest model on a single clip is roughly fifteenfold. The picker shows each model's price before you generate, and a slideshow keeps most scenes as stills, so the money goes on the few scenes that need real motion.

Calls are the other line that can move quickly if you dial hard. Note that a phone provider bills you per minute whichever product drives it, which is why only the platform fee is ever counted in a savings comparison and never the calls themselves.

Everything else scales with a light hand. A user generating a few images a week and sending to a small list will not go far past the floor above.

Why One Key Instead of a Dozen Accounts

Image and video generation both run through Fal.ai, on a key in your own name.

One Signup, One Balance

Fal.ai hosts the models rather than building them, so one key reaches all of them. That is one signup instead of a dozen, one balance to top up instead of a dozen invoices, and one place to see everything you have spent.

Nothing Left Stranded

You are never locked to a single AI company's roadmap or its pricing, and you never carry a monthly fee for a model you used twice and abandoned. Fal.ai charges per generation, so you pay for what you make and nothing in the months you make none.

New Models Just Appear

When a model is released, Fal.ai usually hosts it within days, so it turns up in your picker on the next update. There is no new account to open and no new card to put on file to use it.

No Markup, and No Credits to Expire

Every line above is an account in your own name, billed at that company's own rate.

A clip that Fal.ai prices at 40 cents costs you 40 cents. The figure is on screen before you press the button.

The common alternative is a credit pack sold at a marked up rate, where you can neither see what a generation actually cost nor get the remainder back when you stop using the tool. That arrangement is convenient for whoever sells it and opaque for everyone else.

Two smaller keys sit separately because they do different jobs. ElevenLabs covers voiceover and voice cloning. An Anthropic or OpenAI key is used only by the AI that writes your scripts, pages and prompts. Your images and videos never touch either of those, and they never touch a balance held by this platform.

You Can Skip the SMTP Relay

The mail relay is on the floor list because most people need one, not because the system requires it. If you already send through an email platform, connect that account instead and the system pushes leads into it: AWeber, ActiveCampaign, ConvertKit, GetResponse, GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Pipedrive and Systeme.io are supported today, and more are added on request.

The same applies to SMS and voice, which run on your own Twilio or Vonage account, and to phone calls, which run on your own Vapi, ElevenLabs or Bland account. Nothing is resold to you.

What Each Level Adds

  • $25 hosting, mail, images
  • $50 video, voiceover
  • $100 AI writing, calls
  • $250 nothing new
  • $750 hosting per domain

The Honest Summary

Hosting and mail, then whatever you generate, at the provider's own price. That is the whole bill. The overview of all five levels sets out what each purchase buys against it.
